Hello! We are Wes and Shari, the owners and operators of our family businesses, Blossom Café and Post and Blossom Fudge.
Wes grew up on the Sunshine Coast and is a qualified chef, whilst Shari is from South West Queensland with a background in Business Administration. We relocated to the Toowoomba region in 2011 and then settled in Greenmount in 2016.
Combining our skills and passion, we took over the Greenmount Post Office in 2023 with a dream to create a welcoming space where community, connection and quality come first. We service our community through good food, handcrafted fudge and genuine country service.
We support other local small businesses, art and craft groups and contribute beyond our town by offering Fudge-Raising. Fudge-Raising is a program we designed to help P&C groups, sports clubs and community organisations of any size, raise money for their causes.
As volunteers ourselves on the local Hall Committee and school P&C, we know how challenging that can be. That’s why we made sure this fundraiser is easy for volunteers, with minimal workload and maximum support. For further information on our fundraiser, please reach out via our contact form.
As for the name “Blossom,” it has a fun story behind it! It started as Wes’ school nickname.
One day, his teacher (who called everyone “Possum”) got so frustrated with him she accidentally shouted “Blossom!” The name stuck, and here we are, proudly carrying it forward in our business.
